You’ll find Ipoh Hawker’s signature laksa, Roti Canai (soft flaky roti served with satay or a hearty curry) and Ipoh Hor Fun. We’re bringing our beloved national dishes, Nasi Lemak and Hainanese Chicken with Hainan Rice. Wash it down with a pick-me-up Malaya Kopi (coffee). All our food is Halal friendly.
Our restaurant is influenced from the town of Ipoh - a foodie paradise in Malaysia -with lots of amazing local food stalls and restaurants scattered across town. At Ipoh Hawker we’ve designed the menu to take you through a culinary adventure.
To make our tasty broth, the secret is in the paste. Our secret recipe has been handed down as a family recipe to the founder Billy Chong. His family was one of the pioneers in bringing authentic laksa to Sydney and was the original owner of Malaysian House in 1994 at the QVB. Our house-made sambal together with fresh mung bean sprouts, vegetables and slurp-worthty noodles can't be beat!
